Aidan's May Day/Praise Day

Aidan's school put on their annual May Day performance. He was so darling in his performance and he was so serious about it. He kept coming home and talking about how the other kids wouldn't pay attention and kept messing up. We love him so much!

Sienna 1st Band Concert

Sienna has taken after Spencer and is very gifted musically. Not only does she play the guitar, piano, and ukulele, she played the tuba in band this year. She has gotten very good at it and really enjoys it. She'll be playing it again next year. We loved getting to see her perform with her band. We only have 2 pictures, and they are not very clear, but we love seeing them anyway. Way to go, Sienna! We are so proud of you!

The Long-Awaited Lucy pictures!

Here they are! There are so many of them, but I just couldn't decide which ones are my favorites! My friend, Heidi, took them for me and we got so many great shots, even with Lucy crying most of the time. I love them, especially since she seems so much bigger already. Thanks Heidi! Love ya more than you know!

We are alive!

I am sorry that I haven't posted in so long. We're kind of boring and not too much going on besides, work, school, homework, and constantly nursing my chunky monkey! Aidan has pneumonia right now, just like last year. Thanks to his previous bout as a baby with RSV he gets it pretty much anytime a cold settles in his chest, poor little man! Lucy weighed 13 lbs. at her 2 month appointment, which is 95th percentile! Her head and length were around the 50th percentile. I've never had such a big baby before! Aidan was always in the 50% range for everything, Mad was always 30% and little Sienna ranged between 15-25 for weight and 25% for length. So Lucy really is a giant compared to the others (I thank the Lord every day that I wasn't pregnant even one more day with her! :) Who knows how big she would have been?) but it is so fun and yet very bittersweet. Because she's my last it's heartbreaking to see her getting so big so fast, but I love watching them grow and change and see her sweet little personality starting to show. I really am going to get the pictures we had taken of Luce and get them on here this week. We haven't had many beach days because it's been rainy when Spence is not on-call. But thanks for still checking up on us! I promise I will try to be better!

Big Girl!

Here's Lucy wearing size 3 months at 7 weeks. She is such a chunk!. I know the fatter cloth diapers she wears may play a tiny part, but the girl is just LONG and equally proportioned with sweet baby chub. I love it and yet I hate that she's growing up that much faster than any of the other kids did!

Lucy pictures

Here are a few pictures of our sweet girl. She didn't love the pictures in her bathrobe, but she is growing so fast I was worried she'd outgrow it before we got another. Do you see her cute bunny slippers? My friend Siomara made them. They are amazing and so adorable! We've been spoiled with gifts from friends and we are so thankful for them. It's not fair, though, because it makes me terribly homesick. Maybe they're all just trying to get us to come for a visit soon!

I love theses soft, chubby cheeks!

Aidan is SEVEN!

I cannot believe that my little man is growing up to be such a big boy. He is such a joy to be around. He is the most talkative kid in the world and (most of the time) I love it. He seriously never stops talking. I think I was the same way (and sometimes still am). He's almost always happy and smiling. He loves his sisters so much, especially Lucy. He says she's his best friend. He has such a tender, loving little soul and I am so grateful and blessed to be his mother. Love you Ainy boy!

Aidan wanted to do a big party this year, but with us just having had Lucy, it wasn't going to happen. We have a place here called The Fun Factory that is kind of like a tiny Chuck E Cheese, so we went there with his best friend Ty and the Clarks, who are pretty much family by now. We've adopted them. He got a bike for his birthday from us, without training wheels. When he's brave enough to actually ride it, I will take a picture. Silly boy! I think he had a really fun birthday.
